Error handling

vendor_timeout

Vendor API exceeded 30s. Auto-retry with backoff up to 3×.

vendor_quota_5

Your vendor-allocated quota exceeded. Per-vendor quota visible in dashboard.

vendor_rejected

Vendor backend validation failed. Compare vendor-specific error code in response body.

circuit_unsupported

Backend doesn't support a gate in your source. EQL providers a translation table.

backend_offline

Vendor returned 5xx. Auto-fallback to other selected backends.

Rate limits

Free tier: 100 shots/day aggregate. Pro tier: unlimited. Enterprise: per-contract. Rate-limited responses return 429 with Retry-After header.
